Tiebacks > Contemporary Examples > 859 Little Angel™
(ca 2005-present)

Nothing overtly religious - this form just generally reminds me of a childhood Christmas tree angel. This piece stems from an intermediate form as we hammer out the Belmont Tieback™. I always liked the little ripples at the bottom edge of the forging and regretted rolling them up out of sight. One day I realized the ripples I liked were the bottom edge of a gown. The form sparked happy memories, so I modified the top to more nearly capture that little Christmas angel.
