Tiebacks > Historic Examples > 807 Propeller Head™
(ca 1732)

“Propeller Head” came to mind the first time I picked up the original
piece. It reminded me of those 1930’s beanie hats with a propeller on
top. This particular example is based on an original from a little church in
Maryland that dates from 1732. The originals were surprisingly tiny and felt
like they’d been made from snippets of left-over iron. I assumed they
were made and donated by a local blacksmith parishioner, so I gave them to
the church too.
