Heavy Shutter Hinges > Show Hinge Option
Shutter hinges are normally installed on the “back” of the shutters. They are hidden behind the shutter when it’s in the open position. A “show hinge” is visible when the shutters are open and swing into the window opening as the shutters close. It’s a nice option from a visual perspective and with show hinges, when the shutters are closed the fasteners on the hinges are not accessible from the outside – adding another measure of security. The “pocket depth” is typically the thickness of the shutters. Please call to confirm installation.
