Heavy Shutter Strap Hinges > 700 series Blam Strap Hinge

Our 700 series is the least expensive formed strap hinge that we produce. We use a heavy press to form the hinge from a 3/16” thick flat steel bar…”BLAM”. The edges are smoothed, the hinge barrel, holes, and offset are then applied. The finished piece has the general shape of early strap hinges, but lacks the forge texture and three-dimensionality that we work into our more expensive hand forged hinges.
